2021 Keeper of the Stones Barossa Valley Shiraz $70/btl

$70.00
sold out

Single vineyard site deep in the Southern pocket of Barossa Valley this selection of premium Shiraz fruit came to us through the Fromm Family vignerons, 5th generation custodians and Barossa winegrowers.

Presenting as deep rich in colour and lifted aromas of cherry and dark fruit undertones that follow through on the palate to surprisingly savoury finish. Characteristics that reflect more European in style rather  than that of a traditional Barossa Shiraz, something not unfamiliar in these more southern sub-regions of the valley that border with Adelaide Hills GI. The wines tend to present a little more refined and delicate, not surprising also considering the cooler than average season it was, which facilitated slow ripening of the fruit resulting in a retention of natural acid. Drinking well now, but has all the hallmarks in its youth that show it will reward those handsomely that have the patience to cellar. From our family to you, please enjoy! cheers
